Christian is studying Computer Science at the TU Berlin. His interests include distributed systems, machine learning, real-time systems and computer graphics. In the context of his work as student assistant, he implemented the real-time framework and most of the analysis and classification core of the PhyPA BCI, namely the PhyPA toolbox. Currently, he is also working as a tutor and co-supervises some BCI related diploma theses.

Marius is Diploma student at the TU-Berlin with interests in HCI and Music Theory. His work with the PhyPA group includes the evaluation of auditory mismatch negativity effects.

Matti has studied Cognitive Science and is currently working on his Masterthesis. His main research interests are Human Motion Perception, Single Trial EEG-Analysis and the transfer of BCI and Machine Learning techniques to the field of Neuroscience.

Diploma Student in the PhyPA project. He is studying Psychology at the TU Berlin with focus on statistics and data analysis. Furthermore, he is working at the Department of Cognitive Psychology as a research assistant. From February to April 2007 he did an internship within the PhyPa-Project which leads directly to his upcoming diploma thesis.

Sabine is studying Psychology at the TU-Berlin focussing on Human-Machine Interaction and Cognitive Neuroscience. In 2006 she was participating in a BCI project of the PhyPA group, which lead her to her Diploma Thesis which includes the topic of non-stationarities and the loss of controllability of the user in BCI-systems. She is also working as a research assistant at the Department of working, engineering and organizational psychology (Human Factors).

Sebastian has studied industrial engineering and management with focus on information and communication systems at the Technical University of Berlin. He has investigated the EEG-based distinguishability of several different imagined hand movements in his student research project. Now, he is working on the design of a classifier to distinguish between different hand-movements and the definition of a more natural set of classes for usage in multi-class BCIs.

Thorsten has studied mathematics with focus on mathematical logic in Muenster. Then he worked for three years in the BBCI project of Benjamin Blankertz (Fraunhofer FIRST, IDA, Klaus-Robert Mueller). Currently he supervises the work of nine graduate students and gives two lecture-courses on the fundamentals of BCI research. His research focuses on the field Brain-Computer Interaction - namely the enhancement of the PhyPA-BCI by adding online detection of Non-Stationarities, multimodal Error-Responses and Workload-Indices.
